Educational Scholarship
Educational Scholarship - $3,000
This scholarship will be awarded to the candidate selected based on the following criteria:
- A correctly completed application form (CLICK HERE).
- One scholarship awarded per year.
- A grade point average of 3.0 (on a four point scale) or higher upon graduation from high school/GED, or the most recent level of education post high school.
- Must be no younger than eight and no more than forty years of age.
- If the winner has yet to matriculate from high school, the scholarship will be accrued in a bond bearing interest account and will be dispersed upon graduation from high school or obtainment of a GED (graduate equivalency degree).
- A typed essay on either of the following topics:
- Heart, family, friendship and love - Samantha valued and exemplified these qualities and values. What do these things mean to you in your life
OR- If you had one day left on this earth, what would you do?
Applicants between the ages of eight to ten must submit an essay of approximately 100 words. For those between the ages of eleven and above, the essay must be between a 100-200 words.
The scholarship award will be distributed in a check made payable to the institution of higher learning, "FBO"(For Benefit Of) the recipient.

Hockey Scholarship
Hockey Scholarship - $2,000

Four scholarships per year, each at $500 per scholarship
Applicants must be between 8 to 14 years of age. Must meet the qualifications outlined below:
- Average grade level of no less than "C"
- A typed essay on the following topic:
What are behaviors which demonstrate sportsmanship and why is this important in athletics?
Applicants between the ages of eight to ten must submit an essay of approximately 100 words. For those between the ages of eleven and sixteen, the essay must be between 100-200 words.
Be actively playing in any league, from house to AAA, within the last two years.
- All scholarships are payable to the league to which the winners are playing for, "FBO" (For Benefit Of) the player awarded.
